Folks, Mrs. America is not "about" Phyllis Schlafly, anymore than Game of Thrones was "about" Cersei Lannister. It's an ensemble piece, she's the main antagonist, and the show takes the time to articulate exactly what drove her without saying she was right about anything.
Muting this thread now, because I just can't with this rudimentary principles of fiction stuff.
I have some issues with Mrs. America as drama (minor ones) but the treatment of Schlafly and other conservative women is not among them. The show gives you plenty of space to loathe what they stand for without hanging animated arrows over their heads that say "BAD PERSON."
