We are extending business closures in Virginia for an additional two weeks, to Friday, May 8.

It continues to be important for Virginians to stay home. The actions we have taken are slowing the spread and flattening the curve—but we can't let up now.

We are using $70 million in funding from the federal CARES Act to expand child care services for essential workers. Early childhood education has always been a top priority for me and @FirstLadyVA, and access to safe, stable care is more important now than ever.
