Stop thinking presidential elections are abt the two people whose names are on your ballot. That’s juvenile and naive. Those elections are not about an individual personality, but about structural power. They are abt budgets and systems and their architectures, judges and wealth.

Every time I heard people grousing about their choices in terms of their person histories, like voting for them is doing them a personal favor or withholding, I think how silly them I get angry. That’s a legit srguenrbt in the primaries. In the general, it’s lunacy.
