2/ Being wrong.
It’s harder than ever in the world of social media & “gotchas” to admit you’ve been wrong.
The deeper one has dug in, the harder it is for them to admit it.
I know this in a very deep & personal way. But it’s hard for everyone.
So my advice is: set an example

3/ Start subconsciously sowing seeds among your IRL friends and crowds by posting something you were wrong about - something *they’d* approve of (i.e. not “I didn’t like Trump, now I do” - that won’t play

4/ If people gloat over you, then they’re not good friends, and fuck ‘em. They’re likely in the 4-6%

This is called LEARNING & CRITICAL THINKING, & many have deliberately been brainwashed & directed away from these skills.
