I just saw an article about how when restaurants re-open they may be limited to 50% capacity

While I completely understand the sentiment, the people suggesting this have clearly never seen the financial records of a restaurant. The margin is not there.
This of course presumes that they will re-open at all, after being closed. Which, in my opinion is a pretty big assumption. We need to continue to listen to health experts regarding lifting restrictions but we also need to be realistic about the financial ruin that has occurred.
The #CARES Act, with #PPP and #EIDL programs were a nice start, in theory, though the efficacy has yet to be seen and judging by the disastrous implementation thus far I'm not optimistic.
Requiring Businesses to close and people stay home MUST be accompanied by drastic measures by Local, State & Fed. Gov'ts to assist the economy back on it's feet. We still have a ways to go until restrictions can ease so planning needs to be done now to resuscitate the country.
