For a whole year, the health care industry claimed that people would hate M4A when they understood what it meant. The exit poll question was designed to convey quite literally what M4A is: "replacing all private health insurance with a single government plan." https://twitter.com/billscher/status/1250526976009474048">https://twitter.com/billscher...
It& #39;s not as if pollsters explained to people what a public option is when they asked if they would rather have M4A or a public option. The question was never anything like: would you rather pay a 4% tax for M4A or 8.5% premium plus a deductible for Pete& #39;s public option
And I& #39;m using Pete& #39;s plan here as a stand-in because Joe Biden& #39;s public option proposal has absolutely zero details about what it would cost or if there would be a deductible
People *might* not also realize that M4A would be vastly cheaper than a plan that creates a public option while preserving the rapidly crumbling employer-based health insurance system and all of its waste and cruelty
All this to say @billscher you might be a broken record but you don& #39;t know shit. Fuck off.
