Having looked at the guidance this does indeed fall far short of expectations. Those who are paid monthly & employed after 28 Feb wont have had an RTI submission & are likely to miss out. Needs urgent clarification by @RishiSunak & commitment that no-one will lose out due to RTI

I have now deleted my initial tweet regarding #newstarterfurlough which welcomed the chancellors announcement. I took the announcement at face value & was wrong to do so. Twitter users quickly drew to my attention the implications of the guidance. Hope @RishiSunak has a rethink!
