I'm delighted to see all these NHS charity fundraisers. But I'm concerned it's starting to make us see the NHS as a charity we need to do fundraising for, rather than a public service funded from our taxes.
And that rather than us doing bake sales or sponsored walks, we need to be voting for a party that will fund and resource it properly, and demanding that they do so.
Obviously, it's great to do the bake sales and the sponsored walks right now because it's an emergency, and the service has been underfunded for a decade, but please don't let it it change your perception of what the NHS truly is and how it should be funded.
