[THREAD] how i traded for all of my dream furniture!!!

1) first - make a wishlist graphic!! it’s easier for people to glance at quickly. it doesn’t matter if it’s made it photoshop or MS paint - it will help you, trust me! here’s an example.

2) search “acnh wishlist” and similar terms to find OTHER PEOPLE’s wishlists. i honestly got most of my furniture from helping other people out - you want as many people to see your wishlist as possible!

2 cont.) don’t be afraid to reply to random people’s wishlists. say “hey, i have (item) - would you mind taking a look at my wishlist?”

2 cont.) consider making a graphic of your own catalog - it’s easier for people to see what of yours they’d be interested in!

3) try searching on twitter for what you want. for example, i’d search “rattan bed” and see if anyone has one available to trade. again, don’t be afraid! the worst thing they can say is no.

4) JOIN A DISCORD SERVER!! try searching around twitter and asking your followers if they’re part of any you can join. smaller, more intimate ones are less intimidating and more helpful in my experience.

5) finally - NOOKAZON!!! i have only just recently started using this, and definitely use it at your own risk - but i’ve been very successful using it.

6) don’t give up - if the person with an ironwood kitchenette wants something you don’t have, considering trading for that item! sometimes that’s the only way.
