We got to see the trailer for the channel 4 documentary today. Many of our worst fears look to be coming true. The hatred has already started online. When a mainstream channel stamps their approval on a racist trope the rest is inevitable.

The reply will contain harrowing imagery, without seeing the scale of the problem and the level ordinary people will sink to abuse us, we don't feel people in civil society will take our worries seriously.

This level of abuse is common. Both Romany Gypsies and Irish Travellers receive this level of hatred. Worryingly some of it is even traced to 'professionals'.
