@ealini Just read your story on CERB/EI payments doubling up - Something isn't adding up. I applied ONLY for EI, never for CERB, and I've been paid for the period of March 22 - April 11 ($500 per week) as well as a blanket $2000 payment with no accompanying correspondence.

Govt saying that all of these mistakes are due to user error rather than errors on their side is definitely incorrect - and it's going to cause a huge mess for people when they're either asked to pay it back or when their benefit cuts off after 12 weeks instead of 16.
