Listening to two people talk about why some colleagues won& #39;t turn on their camera during video calls. I would prefer that to what I& #39;ve seen over the years because nothing fries my wires more than people who spend entire meetings totally ignoring the actual meeting. If I ever
owned a biz where video calls were a regular occurrence, I would write it right into the company manual that internet surfing, watching tv, doing other work, playing on your phone, etc is a fireable offense. I would dearly love to pop quiz people out of the blue during meetings.
On the last day of work before I retire and move to Crone Island, no matter where it is or who it& #39;s for, I& #39;m going to end my final call with, "you aren& #39;t as subtle as you think you are." Everyone has their pet peeves. I& #39;m sure I annoy people b/c I twist in my chair, though I& #39;m
trying to knock it off because it& #39;s probably annoying. I& #39;ve even declined to give a reference for someone who habitually ignored meetings they attended b/c I figure if you can& #39;t act professional when you know people can see you, what are you like when they can& #39;t?
