This is a world historically bad take.

Here is the Truth:

1. Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2 remains a highlight of the entire superhero genre and one of the few films to truly capture the style and tone of Silver Age Marvel.

3. The Amazing Spider-Man reboots were failures, despite good character work from Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone.

4. Tom Holland is a great Spidey but the MCU entrirs are unfortunately paint-by-numbers.

5. Into the Spider-Verse is a visual masterpiece and, like Spidey 2, one of the few superhero movies to push the genre forward.
