Dead WiFi: a thread:

The WiFi on my Dell XPS-15 failed last week. I tried everything I could think of to fix it. Windows updates, Dell updates, driver updates, restarts, and swearing loudly. I even rage-tweeted Killer Networks and Dell for giving me a crappy WiFi card. (1/6)
I was forced to switch to using Ethernet. Laptops without WiFi are fucking USELESS. Of course, my Dell laptop didn't have an Ethernet port, so I had to fish out a USB Ethernet adapter. The good thing about wired internet is that it just WORKS. But you know, WIRES, man. (2/6)
I decided to order a new WiFi card from Intel, a card that everyone on the interwebs said was bulletproof and would be a cinch to swap out. Of course, I also had to order a fancy Torx screwdriver to get my laptop open, because REASONS. (3/6)
Anyway, the card and the screwdriver arrived from Amazon today. Soon, I would have delicious WiFi again! To make life easier, I decided to download the driver for the new WiFi card before installing it. But first, Windows wanted me to do another Windows Update. 🙄 (4/6)
So I do the Windows Update and of COURSE I have to do the inevitable restart because DIFFERENT REASONS. It boots up, I login, and WOULD YOU FUCKING BELIEVE IT? THE WIFI STARTS WORKING AGAIN! At this point, I don't know whether to be happy or angry. (5/6)
Do I blame Microsoft, Dell or Killer? Or do I just shrug and move on? Anyway, the laptop is still under warranty so I have decided to put the new WiFi adapter and the fancy Torx screwdriver into a drawer until the crappy Killer card shits itself again. End of thread. (6/6)
