gotta say, even though i don& #39;t yet understand any of it, FT have made pretty much every single system, piece of documentation and way of thinking just a click away at any moment
which could be overwhelming as i feel the need to know _everything_ but now I know everything is available without difficulty, i can wait until I need to know a lot of this stuff
my line manager has set up 1:1s with me and the CTO, heads of things, entire teams. just to say hi. makes me feel important lol
this is a totally new experience. also their general communication is on point. i was reading memos from the president of our parent company today as was like "wow, seems like a nice person"
before i started i wrote down the question "why is my team using kinesis instead of SQS" and although i haven& #39;t read the answer, this question has literally been written down and answered in the repository in a technical decision doc
