Secure the bag in silence.
Do your charity quietly.
If you& #39;re helping someone out with food, electricity, fees... preserve their dignity. The entire TL doesn& #39;t need to know.

Moreover, they don& #39;t need a condescending lecture. Do what you need to with positive intentions & move on.
It& #39;s difficult to explain but some ideas, plans and ambitions lose their power when you end up sharing it widely.

You can come on here & say "I& #39;m writing a book" & in 20min you have a debate going on about why you shouldn& #39;t.

Not everyone wants what& #39;s best for you.
One thing that really needs to die here is the competition style charity of "I have xx to give to someone"

... & you have a flood of comments from desperate, vulnerable people who really need help.

We have a 30% unemployment rate, finding someone isn& #39;t hard.
Last thing which also needs to die... is the entitlement accompanying charity.

"Why didn& #39;t he give to xx?"
"It& #39;s only 20% of his salary"
"Surely she can afford to give more?"
"Why healthcare and not education?"

Being an armchair critic is pretty easy.
