It's not just roadside Paan Wala who is doing the Price gouging crisis of #CoronavirusLockdown, Big enterprise like @IndiGo6E are doing the same, here is how.

Let's say a person "A" has booked a ticket worth Rs 7500 on flight date of 28th April with @IndiGo6E on 2nd April.

Now the government has extended the lockdown and @IndiGo6E is forced not to provide the service on the same day, Ideally, After deducting the convenience fees the amount should be refunded asap to the original source(within 7 days). Or At least before the Flight date.

But wait,

Now see the audacity of this airline, Instead of returning the money they launch the credit shell with a validity of 1 year.

Now if you see this is cheating on multiple levels.

Level 1) You are actually holding the money until one makes up his mind to use the credit shell.

Level 2) The credit shell can be used along with the same PNR, which means only the same person with the same Airline can use it. (Note many are using flights for the first time as emergency uses, now if they don't again use the same airlines, that money is gone)

Level 3) Now let's say I have made up my mind to travel on 6th after lockdown is finished and I can see @AirAsia is offering the same Itinerary at 7500 Rs or lower but I can't choose it if I want to use the same amount pending in credit shell.

Level 4) Now people are forced to use a credit shell of @IndiGo6E hence the demand is going to higher (or they fake it to higher), the price of the original Itinerary is increased to 14K + Convenience fees !!!!

While I can still get the same with @AirAsiaIndian at 7.5K !!

Isn't this a classic example of

Cheating + Price gouging + Esacping True Customer Service + Worst audacity in tImes of a pandemic.

Imagine 1) U are at the place of @IndiGo6E what will you do?

2) you are salary deprived only one-time traveler who stuck in this situation?

(btw I have booked 3 tickets worth 7.5K now my collective loss at this )
