Answering a question from the audience citing @usnews report that KSA spent $70 billion in the 80s and 90s to promote jihad and “made it an international industry...and promote Wahabism” through educational systems around the world, here is Bandar (Bin Bush) said on record:

“I think what you are referring to are the madrassas….here I am gonna tell you& probably for the first time many of you would hear this in public: In the 80s when the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia& US made an alliance to get the Soviets out of Afghanistan....

We agreed to match dollar for dollar….During 81 to 88 there were lots of refugees who were orphans & they would cross the border to Pakistan….& American suggestion came: Why can’t we build those young refugees schools & 'schools' in Arabic is madrassa.

The idea was to feed them, cloth them & teach them religious studies & then reclycle them to their countries when they go back to their countries they have to take revenge because their parents were killed by the Soviets & fight the colonial in country who is an atheist...
This idea was genius at the time, and it was.

* This Afghanistan Model is still utilized in some hot spots around the world to keep Global War on Terrorism fueled. #Thread
