1) REALLY liked Catch and Kill by Ronan Farrow (heavy, but so good and well-written)
2) I re-read Austen a lot (Pride & Prejudice and Persuasion recently) and also Robin McKinley's books
3) I really love Kitchen Confidential and have been recommending that a bunch
