One of my youth students was in a major car accident last night.

Both her legs are broken, she has severe head trauma & her upper spinal cord is hemorrhaging.

Please pray for healing for her, wisdom for the doctors & peace for her family & her senior class.

Thank you.
UPDATE: She is going into surgery tomorrow. They're going to be trying to repair her body literally from head to toe. Thank you all for your prayers. ❤️
Update: surgeries were very successful!! She has been moved from critical to stable condition!

There are still many areas where she is incredibly struggling though and her parents are not allowed to be in the hospital with her due to covid, so continued prayers please!
Update: HUGE PRAISE! Her parents were able to visit her last night! While originally not responding to tests for physical reactions, last night she turned her head when her mom kissed her cheek and moved when her dad tickled her ear!!

Thank you for your continued prayers! 💕
Update: she was rushed to the OR this morning & the doctor was extremely pessimistic about her chances. We're all heartbroken after so much progress.

Please pray that the surgery goes well - much better than expected, & for her family as they sit in the grief & uncertainty.
Update: Surgery stopped her seizures! Main concern/needed prayer is for damage to her brain stem which doctors believe won't recover leaving her in a vegetative state. She opened an eye today & continues to move & react to what is happening to & around her, praying for progress!
Update: parents are meeting with the neurosurgeon today at 4 CST and are very anxious about what he has to say. This doctor has been extremely pessimistic throughout. Please pray for peace as they carry grief and hope.
Just a note: Her parents have okayed and encouraged posting public updates and spreading requests for prayer, which is why I'm making/updating this thread as opposed to sharing privately. They want as many people lifting their daughter up with specific prayers as possible.
