If you 'shuffle and deal' any number of races from 2019 to create new shorter seasons, there are 27399 ways Max Verstappen becomes champion

Seen some people talking about all the 'permutations' used in this video, but just to be a maths pedant for a sec - I actually use 'combinations', not 'permutations'

It doesn't matter too much in comment parlance but I'm only bringing it up now to mention the difference.

'Permutations' are when the order makes a difference.
So a Spain, Belgium, China season would be counted as *different* from a Bel-Spain-Chn and Chn-Spain-Bel season. But I count them as functionally identical, so they are all the same 'combination'

Again, don't really care what word you use in casual chat! I'm not that pedantic. But if you've got a stats exam coming up...er... (pandemics aside) then it's good to know the diff.
