I listen to my body. Since I don& #39;t have access to machines that can measure everything in my body, I rely on what it tells me. If I& #39;m too tired, I won& #39;t exercise. I& #39;ll take a break that day. I pushed myself a couple of weeks ago and almost fell sick.
When I feel hungry, I will see if my stomach feels empty or it is just my mind or mouth that wants something. I miss my sugar free chewing gum.
I had a heart attack 6 years ago and was diagnosed with diabetes last November. So reducing food or not having certain types of food have become normal. Don& #39;t eat too much junk. Those might weaken your body.
All I& #39;m doing is to increase my chances of fighting off the virus when it gets to me. All we can do are these small, incremental acts. For mental health, everyone has their own way of coping.
Mine is to face the worst case scenarios. I will always ask myself, should these come to pass, can I accept them. The answer is always yes, because regardless of how we feel or want, things happen all the same.
