The things that skinny people have to realize is yes, you may get body shamed, everyone does. But you will forever be looked at as the norm. Your body image will never be used against you for people to question your health, discriminate you in the workplace, etc.
Everyone’s insecurities and feelings about themselves are valid but... to discount the fact that there is some type of privilege in being skinny is preposterous.
Again, EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO HAVE THEIR OWN INSECURITIES AND FEELINGS AND, yes! Everyone gets body shamed. But there is a significant discrimination against overweight and fat people.
Average size is skinny. Have y’all seen BMI charts? According to my BMI, I’ve been overweight since I was 12. It’s only complex if you take it personal. 🤷🏾‍♀️
You don’t see this amount of hatred for any skinny/“average sized” celebrity. You just don’t. Everyone’s excuse is “she just does too much”. HOW???? Lol please tell me how anything she does is different from Cardi B, Ari, Draya or any of your other favs??? https://twitter.com/didyousaydrew/status/1249838925004316672?s=21 https://twitter.com/didyousaydrew/status/1249838925004316672
