"The English blocked our PPE" is going to be the "GERS is a unionist plot to hide our true economic might" of the #coronavirus era, and it's utterly tragic. Ignorance should be cured by knowledge and understanding, but instead it is being curated by propaganda and spin. #Scotland

As ever there are two layers to this - the knowing political operators who spotted an opportunity to score a hit against a political opponent, and the less savvy but utterly committed supporters who are now genuinely livid believing that "English" actions have risked Scots lives.

It's a desperate, damaging way to conduct politics.
