#31Days31Teams Day 15: The Minnesota Wild
Forward Player Card: Kevin Fiala

Oddly enough, Fiala led the Wild in scoring this year despite playing 3rd line minutes. His offensive play has fully recovered from his atrocious anomaly 2018-19 campaign, although his defence is still a weakness. #mnwild
Defenceman Player Card: Jared Spurgeon

It& #39;s inexplicable to me that Spurgeon isn& #39;t generally recognized as the superstar he is. He& #39;s one of the league& #39;s best offensively, defensively, and on the powerplay. He also scores at a high rate. AND he& #39;s been consistent as hell. #MNWild
Goalie Player Card: Devan Dubnyk

Minnesota& #39;s team defence is so good that if Dubnyk was even an average goalie he& #39;d be in the Vezina conversation every year. But he& #39;s not - he& #39;s terrible. Facing the league& #39;s easiest workload he was unreliable and awful at even strength. #mnwild
WAR vs Cap Hit Expected WAR Timeline: Marcus Foligno

Foligno isn& #39;t a big name, but he& #39;s been incredibly consistent for the past five seasons. His defensive game especially is way above his paygrade, and the Sabres and Wild both benefitted from his reliability. #mnwild
WAR Roster Generator: 2016-17

This team is a banner example of the limits of being analytically dominant in a playoff series. The Wild controlled 59% of xG against the Blues, but just couldn& #39;t put the puck in the net and lost in five games. #mnwild
Hope you enjoyed part 15 of #31Days31Teams. Next up, the Montreal Canadiens
