OK, enough people have complained about this that I need to address it. LET’S TALK ABOUT THE OXFORD COMMA in the #MBMBaM logo
In the new, beautiful rebrand of our show by @SarahMcKayArt you’ll notice that there is no Oxford common in the title.
This has been the case for over a decade as you can see here in the pioneering work of @theroostarr
BUT WHY, Justin? Well, friends, I’m here to tell you. It’s to avoid confusion with another very similar show, My Brother, My Brother, and Me a comedy series which aired on the Seeso streaming service. The TV show DID include the comma, which is how you tell them apart.
So, in closing: My Brother, My Brother and Me is a podcast. My Brother, My Brother, and Me is a TV show. I hope we never have to talk about this again.
BONUS FACT: The original logo omitted the serial comma because @chrisgrant beat AP style into us in the Joystiq days and I’m sorry gang, if you see the name written out with the serial comma in there and it doesn’t look silly to you I don’t know what to say.
