Hi @DM_NAINITAL @NainitalSsp there's a Nepali daily wager probably, who landed up at our doorstep. She's hungry, coughing and I've called up the police twice. They say they have no way to help her out. Will you intervene & get her immediate help & also sanitise our door steps.
We called up the SHO who said he's in a meeting, if this is how you respond in times of emergency. God bless us all @DM_NAINITAL @NainitalSsp @uttarakhandcops
Finally 2 cops came & I asked them to take her to the hospital to which his reply was "bahar ghoom rahi hain, khaasi to hogi" & that we have no provision for dinner. Don't know where they took her, but she needs to be checked & our steps sanitised @uttarakhandcops @NainitalSsp
Suspect she's a domestic abuse victim & she needs immediate help.The response has been really disappointing, is the administration not equipped to deal with such situations? No food, no shelter for the poor, she needs a checkup. Will raise this further @NainitalSsp @DM_NAINITAL
The woman is back & crying, told me the cops didn't help her last night. Shameful, the cops took her away from our place & left her on the road. It's ridiculous how one person can't be taken care off by the admin. @DM_NAINITAL @NainitalSsp @tsrawatbjp @uttarakhandcops
And there's been no response by the admin on this after 12 hours. Cops who came to take her told me she will be given help, thankfully have recorded the video.This is how Nainital police dealing with emergencies, you stand exposed..not equipped to deal with anything @NainitalSsp

Repeated calls to the police station since morning & no action. If the @NainitalSsp @uttarakhandcops is so helpless then probably leave it to the citizens. Cops who came last night said "khaas rahi hain, bahar ghoomti hain, koi dikkat nahi". @DM_NAINITAL do you exist?
Hi @tsrawatbjp Nainital administration is non responsive to a possible Covid case, she's a migrant from Nepal.Who came outside my house last night,was coughing badly, cops took her after I called but left her on the road. Please ensure some action here @DM_NAINITAL @NainitalSsp
