/ At this point, one has to ask ... is Andrew Scheer *trying* to sabotage any possible prospect of a career after politics?
/ Normally, once someone realizes they're on the way out, they start casting about for a cushy landing ... you know, board of directors of some big bank, think tank, perhaps a career in obscenely well-paid public speaking ... the kind of stuff that requires no intellect.
/ But part of this preparation for apres-politics normally involves, well, not making an absolute ass of yourself to the point where people are embarrassed to be seen with you. And Scheer is making it really, really difficult for even his colleagues.
/ If that's not hideous enough, Scheer has -- literally -- no business experience of any kind to recommend him. He is, quite simply, not qualified to do anything of any value. So where does that leave him?
/ What board of directors would be interested in Scheer, given his current childish petulance and immaturity? Good Lord, the guy makes even Lisa Raitt look like a grownup, and that takes some work.
/ So one is left to wonder, what exactly is Scheer's long-term plan, given how he is currently self-destructing in front of everyone's eyes? He might want to dust off those insurance broker books.
