75 years ago today, a young Jim Molyneaux (future leader of the UUP) took part in the liberation of Bergen/Belsen Concentration Camp. Years later, he told me that he witnessed a Priest celebrate Mass in the camp, standing beside another Priest who had died minutes before!!!

Jim told me he wondered why the Priest was standing a short distance behind the Altar. It was only when he looked to the side that he realised the Priest, who was originally saying Mass, had died during the ceremony - and he was witnessing the second Priest, who continued...
