Hey @riotgames & @LeagueOfLegends artists: I LOVE (most of) your work and you& #39;re all SO incredibly talented. But can we please create female characters with more proportionate & realistic bodies? I understand silhouettes/art theory/etc but... just small improvements... pls? #2020
Show us you understand anatomy and physics. How boobs work. How gravity works. How spines work. Proportions of boobs to head. Proportions of boobs to waist to hips. And I KNOW you know all this... Your characters (and us, your players) deserve better. Make your games inclusive!
I& #39;ve noticed improvements in several of your more recent female characters, and yet I feel like this needs to be said again: There is a difference between sexy and sexualised. Both are not always necessary.

Lots of gems throughout that whole article, but this part in particular hits the nail on the head:
"Letâs take, for example, Doctor Shen and Nurse Akali. In this case (and many more like it), the message is clear: Men are there to do things; women are there to be looked at."

We need to consider how women are represented in our games if we& #39;re going to change the toxic attitudes towards women within the gaming community. And this affects not just the attitudes of your male demographic, but also how women & girls feel playing it. Games are for everyone!
PS. And yep, naturally this goes for ALL artists designing ALL female characters everywhere... I& #39;m simply pointing out the ones in #LeagueOfLegends since it& #39;s the game I play most and care most about personally.

Oh boy, this is still going? Ok, quick responses to a few of the main constructive comments:
1. The image was from the article I shared (from 2014) where the author described specific characters. I merged them and added a handful more for a quick collage. Recent examples? Sure:

2. Regarding a handful male characters also being sexualised - absolutely. OTT sexualisation of men isn& #39;t good either. Sexy bodies come in all shapes & sizes - let& #39;s celebrate diversity! That said, they& #39;re still catering to the male gaze, not a female one. https://twitter.com/annabrandberg/status/1250938081135529985">https://twitter.com/annabrand...
3. Male characters at least have more diversity. The female characters (besides like... Illaoi, Camille and Jinx?) (who I love, don& #39;t get me wrong) basically all have one body type.
Can we have more of characters like Illaoi, Camille and Jinx pls?

4. Animals don& #39;t count. Yordles don& #39;t count. CHILDREN most certainly don& #39;t count.
Stop trying to use them as examples.

5. Nobody& #39;s trying to "take away your titties". Ofc I love sexy art, ofc I love boobs, ofc I love a good butt. But there& #39;s a difference btwn SEXY & SEXUALISED. Female characters in games deserve better than to just be sex objects catered to the male gaze. https://www.themarysue.com/sexy-vs-sexualized/">https://www.themarysue.com/sexy-vs-s...
