Just going to say it plain and simple. Final Fantasy 7 Remake is intentionally not a remake. Its a sequel that kind of banks on you being a fan of the original to understand what its doing with the story this time.

I feel people really need to know this before buying it.

I think what they did here is more acceptable if you all know this and then decide to buy the product.

Square enixs decision to mislead everyone into thinking this is genuinely a remake with a few additional world building stories though was massively irresponsible and dishonest
