ROADWORKS UPDATE

If you are out on the roads in Doncaster and the surrounding areas, you may still see routine roadworks taking place.

They are to provide and maintain road infrastructure along with key utilities in the borough such as water, gas, electric & communications.

The government has given the 'green light' to allow these works to continue and we're ensuring our workers and contractors are keeping to all social distancing regulations.

In these unprecedented times – and let's be honest, traffic levels have never been lower – work is continuing, but we have the power as an authority to pause works on routes deemed essential that may still cause some disruption e.g. close to supermarkets and hospitals.
