i am officially splintering away from the GND hegemon

as far as i can tell it is just the "money printer go brr" meme but this time make it green and not racist. seems OK but what comes next, how does it get you to zero? how does it confront that `green growth' is maybe, 40% better than regular old FF powered growth?

this wild tangent (perhaps mostly "nordic model" powered) of nationalizing the fossil fuel companies just to shut them down is also typed up in the GND. it is real baby brained stuff with zero historical precedent, just politics nerds talking about stuff that gets them excited

from what i can tell the naomi-klein type people think that we have to fight globally adn that local fights should serve the bigger fight. from what i have seen this past year that is completely wrong.

i have seen CCL and sunrise and XR people with zero imagination trying to pound their square peg thinking into the round hole of local politics and concerns.

i don't give a fuck about lower manhattan flooding and real estate prices but i care if they cover the upper midwest in turbines so they can continue to watch netflix as the waters lap up to the front door. they're stuff we agree on but there is just as much on which we disagree.
