Q8. Vedas are in what language?
A8. Vedas are in Daivic / Vedic Sanskrit. This language can be understood with the help of Vedangas such as Panini’s Ashtadhyayi (grammar), Nighantu (glossary / index), and Yaska’s Nirukta (etymology), Jyotish, etc.
@vivekagnihotri @epic_warr
[The western indologists have totally disregarded the Vedangas and have just assumed that Vedas were written in primitive / nascent / archaic Sanskrit. They just mapped the Vedic words to the current / local Sanskrit dictionaries
@udaya_venu @UshaNirmala @TVMohandasPai
and grammar and then derived obscure meanings out of that collation.]

Q9. What does Vedas contain?
A9. The term Veda comes from the root word Vid, which is also the root for the word Vidya. Vedas contain Vidya meaning knowledge.

Each mantra can have multiple meanings, which can be any of the following three types of knowledge viz., Spiritual (Adhyatmika), Meta-physical (Adhidaivika), and Yajna / Action oriented (Adhiyajnik). Adhiyajnik meaning would

include not only offering oblations to fire, but would include the other necessary actions and knowledge (including material sciences) required for a living. For example Rig, Yaju, Saam, and Atharva contains various verses expounding Pure sciences,

Administration (of state and home), Applied Sciences, and Arts, respectively.
Q10. What does Vedas not contain?
A10. Since Vedas is the seed knowledge given by God, in the beginning of human creation, it does not contain

History, Geography or information which change over time and place.
*Counter Q.:* Vedas do contain words which seem to indicate history and geography of vedic period of India? *Counter Ans.:* Even today the names of people and

things are given upon Vedic words. This cannot be obscured to mean that Vedas contain reference to present also. Similarily, commonality of terms used (i) in History and Geography and (ii) in Vedas, are a result of Vedic words being used to name people and

places in the past and not otherwise.

Q11. Who all have translated Vedas and in what languages?
A11. Many scholars has translated the Vedas, however,
@PlsFo @LevinaNeythiri @NaanOfficialBC @LtGenGurmit @akpurohitngr @follow2deep2 @rightwingchora @VandanaIndian7 @vaidehi_sing
due to destruction of Vedic literature and libraries during the Muslim rule, very limited content is available now. All the scholar, across India, seem to have translated the Vedas in Sanskrit only, ie, from Vedic Sanskrit to Sanskrit, that too in parts.
