We’re extremely grateful to newly graduated medical students who are joining the NHS as FY1 doctors at this time of great uncertainty and pressure. We would like to give you our thanks and wish you all the best of luck.
We appreciate that your introduction to your first role may not be as you has planned, but we are proud of you and are here to help at every step of your journey.
Over the next few months, your journey will be harder than many of those that have gone before you. However, you’ll see greater team working, a camaraderie and sense of shared purpose as we see this pandemic through.
You need to be kind to yourself, your peers will become a huge support to you but treat yourself with the same empathy that you show your patients. Remember to ask for help.
Please keep in touch and let us know how we can support you during your new challenge at [email protected].
