Aminin nyo, mas nakakapagod ang work from home. Nawala yung social cues for us to rest and we’re all itching to be productive pagkagising pa lang.
We let go of the usual pauses in our day which allowed us to recuperate. Not to romanticize traffic, but the commute and walking to our workplaces gave us time to breathe between meetings and “cool down” before arriving home.
Dahil sa expectation na freer ang schedule natin because we dont need to go to work physically, everyone’s just setting meetings and other engagements in a snap. I value productivity but we need to learn to pace everything also so we don’t get burned out.
Having late night press conferences na kung ano ano ang pwedeng maging topic doesn’t do well for our mental health either. Hello Duterte.
Anyway, this is just a reminder for everyone that we are in a difficult situation and it’s understandable if we are not in our peak productivity.
The ECQ is taking a big toll on our mental health that why we need to stick together more than ever and reach out to those we think are having a difficult time.
Dahil sa parang lumilipas na lang ang mga araw and we keep teling ourselves na “nasa bahay lang naman ako so dapat di mapagod”, we forget to take and enjoy our weekends.
Since we know that most people’s body clocks are disrupted, we’ve been used to sending work even in the wee hours of the night. We have lost our boundaries when it comes to time.
