Hey friends! So I do want to continue that "Interview with a Board Member's Ex", but I need a bit of a "reset" first to get back into the right state of mind.

Above anything else, this is an interview with a victim of abuse at the hands of an emotional manipulator. (THREAD)
I need to make this very clear: Emotional manipulators run rampant in this world, but even more so in an industry as stigmatized and underground as this one. It's not always obvious - the worst people often show up as wolves in sheep's clothing.
Educating other people on the very real dangers of emotional abuse is MY "hobby." There's not many topics I consider myself to be a fountain of knowledge in (I'm very young!), but this is one very close to my heart.

As such, I feel inclined to now extend that knowledge to you.
Since this is the story of a first-hand victim, I wanted to share something I wrote over months on how to detect & protect against emotional manipulators. I heed all to read it, ESPECIALLY if you are a provider in this business. It can save you.
