There’s a lot of value in softening a statement, knowing it may be hard for someone to hear. That’s called emotional intelligence. Just because men don’t have it doesn’t mean it’s not valuable

I would like every man to stop telling me that I’m being too accommodating, and instead ask himself, “am I being accommodating enough?”

TL;DR stop telling me to do things like a shitty white man, as though being a shitty white man is something I aspire to. I don't want the bar for me to be lower, I want the bar for men to be higher.
