Just read a post of someone saying High School seniors missing graduation isn't a big deal because graduating from high school isn't that much of an accomplishment because "the vast majority of people do so".
We have struggled almost daily since preschool to reach the end of my kid's Junior year. I refuse to minimize his accomplishment! Many times we worried he wouldn't finish at all. We have all fought to get here. When he graduates next year, there will be GREAT REJOICING INDEED!
And there are LOTS of people out there like us (or else a school like his wouldn't even exist). So don't dare try to tell me finishing high school isn't a big deal. Your small-minded privileged opinion is not welcome here.
