Dr. Adi Pour says out of the 255 cases of COVID-19 in Douglas County, 40 of them are health care providers.
Dr. Pour says 73% of patients in Douglas County say they have a dry persistent cough.
Dr. Pour says close to a third of patients have a loss of sense and smell.
We are also learning 15 COVID-19 patients in Douglas County are currently on ventilators.
Dr. Pour says 18 people say they have fully recovered from COVID-19.
Dr. Pour says the state is developing sites for first responders to quarantine if they contract COVID-19. Those individuals would be placed in hotels away from their families. Pour says the state is working with multiple hotels in Douglas County to make this happen.
