US home purchase #mortgage applications this week are down 35% from a year ago
The rate of decline has slowed
trends in the refinance and purchase application index

refi has come down from earlier spike, but still running around 2012 levels (a big year for refi)

purchase applications are running around 2015 levels, temporarily (I hope) erasing 5 years of recovery
