why i love jughead jones (and why he doesn't deserve this)
note that these can range from small lil things to just him being a precious, actually good character.
he was left hanging by archie in 1x01, although he said that just a talk with him would've solved everything, but archie never talked to him, he was willing to forgive him.
he tried to help/warn archie when he was taken advantage of by miss grundy.
he agreed to help betty in the b&g although he wasn't sure he'd get freedom to write whatever he wanted but he did in the end.
he came alongside betty when she went to see her sister at tsoqm.
he went home with his dad although he'd rather sleep on the streets than in the bunker.
he tried to get his dad back on his feet and asked archie if his dad could offer fp a job.
he helped archie/fred in the construction site although that's not his scene at all.
he comforted betty when she literally thought she was insane like the rest of her family.
he kissed betty's hands when she showed him her scars instead of asking questions or judging her for whatever happened with chuck.
he punched chuck after he was being a douche, getting himself hurt in the process.
he considered staying in riverdale for betty instead of leaving to go live with his mother and sister.
he was willing to leave rvd high so betty wouldn't get more hate and judgment for dating someone from the southside.
he was the first to clap when betty finished her speech ab rvd and what was going on even though no one else was clapping.
he stood in front of betty's locker when it was covered with that sh/t.
he apologized to cheryl although he didn't do anything wrong, getting pumbled in the process.
there's still plenty more but im stopping here for the time being <3
he supported archie when his dad got shot.
he asked around the southside to see if anyone knew who may have been under the hood to help archie
he tried to convince sweetpea to go after the black hood instead of archie.
he comforts betty when she's scared that archie will blame her for everything, comparing her to one of her favorite characters.
he agrees to join the serpents so he can stand in for his dad and be the divider between the southside and northside so no one gets hurt (mind you he doesn't tell betty about this so she doesn't get worried or get involved).
he puts his life, and home on the line so kids at his school won't be sold drugs.
there's still a lot more but im tired so ill finish later
