The section on me in the #LabourLeaks report is full of lies. Here's the facts:

Firstly, Labour's claims of antisemitism against me are the usual smears.

This is best illustrated by the preposterous lie in the report that it is an antisemitic "trope" to call Louise Ellman a "Labour Friends of Israel officer".

That is not antisemitic: it is objective reality.

If reporting on that particular fact is considered a "trope" I suggest @LauraCatriona and the rest of her Labour inquisitors launch an investigation into Labour Friends of Israel for this "antisemitism" from their website:

Labour's account of how I was denied a press pass to their 2019 conference is also a lie.

It is completely untrue that I applied for a press pass "despite being suspended from the Party" -- I applied for the pass in March 2019, some days *before* I was suspended as a member.

Another lie in the #LabourLeaks report is that my application for the pass was "rejected". I was approved in July. Here's the email from Labour conference services:

However, they never sent my pass, because it was then revoked the following month, in retribution for my reporting on Palestine, Labour, and the antisemitism smear campaign; as @AliAbunimah reported at the time: https://electronicintifada.net/blogs/ali-abunimah/labours-poor-excuses-revoking-asa-winstanleys-press-pass

Finally, the #LabourLeaks report proves I was right when I quit in February protesting that their "investigation" of me was actually "a show trial with a foregone conclusion": https://electronicintifada.net/blogs/asa-winstanley/why-i-just-quit-labour-party

What the document reveals is that, even while Labour's bureaucrats wrote to me with a letter giving the pretense of a neutral process to be deliberated by the NEC, Labour staff had actually already recommend the NEC expel me.

At no point was that fact ever disclosed to me before this leak.
