The Netherlands:

In 2017 only 41% of victims of all violent and sexual assault (including rape) crimes reported it to the police.

An estimated 70 percent of sexual assault crimes does not report to the police.

In 2017 the Dutch police registered around 8400 crimes as sexual assault (including rape).

In 2018 the Dutch police registered around 9000 crimes as sexual assault (including rape).

In October 2019, the police had 945 sexual assault (including rape) cases that had been pending for more than half a year, 90 of which had been pending for more than two years.

Only 37 percent of reports of rape to the police in 2019 (first 3 quarters of the year) led to an actual criminal complaint.

On average, a rapist was sentenced to 1 year and 5 months imprisonment.
