Okay so despite the fact that unemployment sky-rocketed under coronavirus, a call went out for anyone who wanted to go and pick fruit, because the UK was already facing a shortage of workers.
Part of this shortage was already happening because thousands of European workers were put off coming after Brexit.
But, virtually no British people applied.

Despite 52% of Britain voting for no immigration to do all these jobs. When it came to it, no one British wanted to do the work. Even if they'd lost their usual job.
