I see it's a bad time to ask this question but: titles of musicals that *don't* have happy endings ... ? Thank you, fellow MT nerds

Turns out you are my people, fellow Sondheim/depressing musical nerds. Many thanks for all suggestions. It's interesting how many of these (though not all) not happy is also a version of 'sad with a turn to the future', rather than EVERYBODY IS DEAD.
