1. Yesterday, I defined the Yoruba word "Akuri" & someone created a befitting hashtag #Akuris. This group of people are those who oppose this FGN unworthily. Mind you, this is not the band of 'fencists' because many of the latter are not #Akuris, the opposite they are/

2. The fencists just employ intellect selectively for & against issues, but almost striving to balance the scales to retain the right to be fencist. The fencists are skilled in the art of debate, they know the pros & cons of issues so they present these & leave you guessing/

3. You are almost begging them for a conclusion. It is a good strategy if you are fencist. I am not and the unworthy Akuris that I am writing about are not fencists thankfully. The Akuris are decidely-mark the words-decidedly against the FGN. They MUST ALWAYS oppose./

4. I admire the Akuris for their single minded focus on opposition. If the President delivers a speech, it must be opposed. The Akuris have not been schooled in the art of debate, they do not know that they must first albeit in pretence acknowledge something good in the opponent/

5. The Akuris will dive in to tear down, maim, disable, destroy. They will hop on to portals/channels/blogs/SM & of course their infernal friends in the media. They will not settle down to marshal their opposition thinking. They will have no data & no elegance of speech/

6. The Akuris live and breath opposition no matter how silly they look or are when they are in opposition mode. I said yesterday that we have unworthy adversaries. Having been homebound (k'onile gbe'le), I have been watching British politics a lot and see the new Labour Leader/

7. getting set in opposition politics. His first act, to wish the PM Boris Johnson well-to ask him to recuperate-to ask the nation to have him in their thoughts and prayers. Then he delivers his salvo-Parliament should open soon-the nation must move. The Akuris is Nigeria rather/

8. want their President to catch the Covid-19 and be on a ventilator and if he has not obliged them, then they make up stories that he is in UK, then Cuba and all other follies. These are unworthy adversaries indeed who do nothing to stimulate intellectual debate that will aid/

9. growth of our nation. We are left to stimulate the discourse ourselves if we are to engage our brains in service to our beloved country. For this course I thank all my brethren here who keep this street engaging for us all-I thank @IsuphJt @wFalabede @fimiletoks @dmightyangel/

12. have done more to shape meaningful discourse on this street than the fencists and the Akuris. This is why today I am 'prouder' of the camp that I am in than any other camp. My camp is positive. It recognises good leadership even in the PDP and is bold to say it. It also calls

13. out the FGN and APC Governors any time it perceives mistakes have occurred. I am proud of my camp the same way I am proud of PMB. He is the person who makes us able to stand because he does not deceive. In 2016, he and PMB started the @NSIP_NG and we told the Akuris about it/

14. What did they do? They scoffed as usual with people who will never rise above mindless opposition. Now when the need for palliatives become more apparent, they are late in the day. The project they refused to talk about hitherto is now their talking point. They have found/

15. a rancorous voice as usual-it is a lie they shout? Tell us the beneficiaries? Now that they see it is true, they want a bite of the apple for themselves. They never learn do they? This apple belongs to the poorest of the poor, and not to the hawks and sharks. /

16. I thank God that I am of the camp of PMB/PYO because they never deceive. What they said they would do, they are doing and we have the data. Thank God for @TrackaNG the only CSO I doff my hat to in nation building, we are able to have independent verification./
