I’m thinking hard about organising Zoom meetings. This isn’t normal #WFH times. For people with caring/parenting responsibilities a Zoom in their calendar may take out their only viable working time that day. Seriously.
Is the Zoom worth that?

...not a subtweet of anyone I’ve had recent Zoom calls with btw. They were helpful or useful for us both/all I think.
A comment that this isn’t working from home for a lot of people. It’s trying desperately to juggle things, and failing most of the time

...and I’m in a position of privilege here. I’m not able to do lots of zooms, and I don’t. If I’m doing a Xoom with you, it’s because I can at that time. There are ECRs with similar caring responsibilities who feel less able to not join the calendar-filling zooms.
