What if the videotape from The Ring was playing, fully visible and in its entirety, in the background of a porno? Would everyone who watched the porno die? What about the actors, who never do more than glance at it? How much attention, exactly, does the curse require to activate?

What if the videotape from The Ring was made into dozens of 10 second GIFs? How many of the GIFs would someone need to watch to activate the curse? What if every human figure in it was replaced with a poop emoji? Would it still be cursed? Or cursed in a very different way?
