At around 1am this morning I was having trouble sleeping. Saw that @BinauralSpace had a new release titled Silent Easter Monday. Read through the description as I began to listen, and at first was somewhat confused by the title, as how could music be made from silence?
But as the birds sang out, I could hear it loud and clear. Silence comes in many forms, and embracing these gave nature an opportunity to be heard. There has been a lot of anger, resentment, and frustration recently with the current situation in the world.
In the early quiet hours I felt a wave of peacefulness as I continued to listen, and silenced my senses from all these distractions. I started to drift off.
I awoke just after 7am, and I opened my window. I could hear the birds outside clearly, so I went outside and recorded a small clip, and I realized that the silence of isolation had made way for the beauty that exists in our world to be heard. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ora2urzlcs4abS6F37GeLAHhVEuXeIZ4
I took the time to put some bread out, and went back in to add this special release to my collection but I couldn’t. I feel privileged to have been a silent observer of the original release, and I’m glad I remained quiet until now.
It has given me some much needed self reflection, and I urge everyone to take the time out when it re-releases to allow yourself to be enveloped in it. Thank you @BinauralSpace
